The Clarkstown Police Department will be offering a free child car seat safety inspection on Sunday, April 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Nanuet Fire Department Substation, located at 11 Renee Lane in Bardonia.
The event is by appointment only, and residents are encouraged to schedule their spot by visiting Clarkstown Police Department’s Child Safety Seats page.
Certified technicians will be on-site to inspect car seats, explain safety features, review weight and height requirements, and offer guidance on best practices for child passenger safety.
Officials noted that additional inspection dates will be offered in the future for those unable to attend this event.
