The Village of Airmont, in partnership with Keep Rockland Beautiful, will host a community cleanup event on Sunday, April 27, beginning at 4:00 PM. Volunteers are invited to meet at Airmont Village Hall, located at 251 Cherry Lane.
Participants will help beautify the community by collecting litter throughout the village. Those who bring back a bag of collected trash by 5:30 PM will be rewarded with a soft-serve ice cream treat courtesy of Cones Ice Cream, which is certified kosher. In addition, all volunteers will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win fun prizes, including toys and games.
We don’t keep our own yards clean. Why would we clean up the village?
