The Thiells Fire Department conducted a vehicle extrication training on Monday night, led by Chief Coughlin. The focus was on the critical rescue technique of stabilizing vehicles and safely extracting occupants. Utilizing Hurst Tools, firefighters practiced removing vehicle doors and raising dashboards to simulate the rescue of a victim pinned underneath.
