The Thiells Fire Department recently completed major renovations at its substation (26-101) located on Hammond Road. Over the past week, crews refurbished the building’s interior, including new walls, updated garage doors, and a freshly redone floor.
During the construction, the department’s apparatus and equipment were temporarily housed thanks to the assistance of the Stony Point Fire Department and the Town of Haverstraw Department of Public Works.
The Thiells Fire Department expressed its appreciation for the support, which allowed operations to continue smoothly while the improvements were made.
