In a shocking incident in New City, a Jewish family’s home was invaded by three suspects around 2 am on Friday morning. Despite the prompt involvement of the police and the existence of surveillance footage, there are currently no leads, and little progress has been reported in the investigation.
Realtor Chedva Dahan shared details of the incident on Instagram, revealing that the break-in occurred on May 24 at 2:22 am. According to Dahan, the thieves initially attempted to unlock a car in the driveway. Failing that, they entered the home through a locked window. Once inside, they searched the house for car keys while the family was asleep.
The burglars successfully stole the car and an unspecified amount of cash.
As of now, the police have not provided updates on any significant developments in identifying the suspects. The incident has understandably left the community shaken, highlighting the vulnerability even within locked homes.
The investigation is ongoing, and local authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
