The Clarkstown Police Department is advising motorists of a full road closure on Kings Highway at the CSX Railroad crossing in Valley Cottage beginning Sunday, July 20, through Friday, July 25. The closure will remain in effect 24/7 as CSX Railroad crews perform scheduled maintenance on the crossing.
The road will remain closed until all necessary repairs are completed. Drivers are urged to plan ahead and follow posted detour signage. Alternate routes should be used to avoid delays.
