Temporary Relocation of Bus Stops at Spring Valley Transit Center due to Repairs

Starting on Monday, December 18, weather permitting, the Spring Valley Transit Center will undergo essential repairs that will impact bus stop locations in the vicinity. This project aims to address damaged concrete near the centrally-located bus shelter area.

To ensure minimal disruption to commuters, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) has arranged temporary bus stop relocations, effective for the duration of the construction, which is anticipated to span 7 days, pending weather conditions.

Here are the temporary bus stop locations:

1. TOR Buses: Passengers traveling on TOR buses will now be serviced at the Municipal Plaza bus shelters near the station building.

2. Hudson Link Buses: Hudson Link buses will temporarily pick up and drop off passengers at the corner of E. Furman Place and Franklin Street.

– Please note that Hudson Link’s Ticket Vending Machine and Bus Information Monitor will remain accessible to customers during the construction period.

3. Coach USA’s Rockland Coaches and Shortline Buses: Passengers using Coach USA’s Rockland Coaches and Shortline buses will also be directed to the corner of E. Furman Place and Franklin Street for boarding and alighting.

MTA is committed to ensuring the safety and convenience of passengers during this necessary repair work. The temporary relocations have been carefully planned to minimize inconvenience while the repairs are underway.
