The tzibur is urged to daven for 81-year-old Duvid ben Kaila, who was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle Thursday night at approximately 7:30PM, near Saddle River Road and Lanzut Court.
Emergency personnel from Hatzoloh EMS and the Ramapo Police Department rushed to the scene. The victim was transported by Rockland Hatzoloh to Westchester Medical Center with paramedics onboard, receiving advanced care en route.
The Ramapo Police Department is actively investigating the incident. As a result, Saddle River Road will remain closed between Orchard Street and Second Street for the next few hours.
