A 19-year-old Monsey resident was critically injured Wednesday after a jeep overturned during an off-road trip near Mitzpe Yericho in Israel.
The victim, Raizel bas Esther, sustained critical injuries and was treated at the scene by Magen David Adom emergency personnel before being airlifted to a Jerusalem hospital for further care.
The crash left nine girls and young women injured. In addition to the Monsey resident, a 17-year-old girl sustained serious injuries, two others were listed in moderate condition, and six additional girls suffered minor injuries. Emergency responders provided initial treatment at the scene, including bleeding control, immobilization, and bandaging, before transporting the victims to hospitals in Yerushalayim.
The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for a refuah sheleimah for Raizel bas Esther, together with all the injured.
