TEHILLIM: Months-Long Search for Missing Yid in Bear Mountain Hudson River Continues as Chaverim of Rockland Leads Recovery Efforts

Chaverim of Rockland is calling on Klal Yisroel to daven and say Tehillim as their dedicated volunteers continue a months-long effort to recover the body of a Yid who went missing in the Hudson River near Bear Mountain.

The tragic incident took place back in February, when the freezing temperatures and icy river conditions made immediate recovery efforts nearly impossible. Since then, and especially as the weather warmed up, Chaverim of Rockland has been going out on the water almost daily, doing everything possible to locate the body and bring the niftar to a proper Kever Yisroel.

The organization is pleading with the tzibur to be mispallel that the search is successful and that the niftar can be brought to Kever Yisroel with the dignity and kavod every Yid deserves. Bringing the body home would also offer much-needed closure to the heartbroken family, who have been waiting in pain and uncertainty for months.
