Teen Arrested in Connection with 2022 Airmont Residential Burglary

Following an extensive year-long investigation, Ramapo Police Department (RPD) detectives arrested a 17-year-old male from Chestnut Ridge on October 26, 2023, in relation to a residential burglary that transpired in the Village of Airmont in October of the previous year.

The young individual is facing charges of Burglary 2nd Degree and Petit Larceny. After his arraignment, he was released to the custody of his parents. As part of the legal proceedings, the accused is set to appear before the Rockland County Court Youth Part on a yet-to-be-determined date.

The Ramapo Police Department continues to work diligently to ensure the safety and security of its residents and properties. Further details surrounding the burglary or the subsequent investigation remain undisclosed at this time.
