Tashlich Traffic Pattern Announced for Suzanne Lake Area in Monsey

Motorists in the Suzanne Lake area of Monsey should be aware of a temporary traffic pattern in effect Thursday for Tashlich, with several local streets operating as one-way routes to help manage the expected traffic.

Drivers will not be permitted to make a left turn from Francis Place onto Ida Road. Those needing to access Ida Road will have to continue via Ronald Drive and Nancy Lane before returning and making a right onto Ida Road.

Additional one-way restrictions will be in place throughout the area, including Elaine Place toward Howard Drive, Howard Drive from Ellish Parkway toward Maple Avenue, and Fanley Avenue toward Neil Road. Neil Road will remain open to two-way traffic.

Ramapo Police and Chaverim of Rockland will be on hand throughout Tashlich to assist with traffic control, and motorists are urged to follow all posted signs and directions from personnel on scene.
