TAPPAN: Dryer Fire Quickly Knocked Down at Route 303 Laundromat

Firefighters responded late Saturday night to a reported dryer fire at a laundromat located at 58 Route 303.

At approximately 11:15 p.m., firefighters from the Tappan Fire Department, Piermont Fire Department, and Sparkill Fire Department were dispatched to the scene along with the Orangetown Police Department.

Upon arrival, firefighters located an active fire involving a dryer inside the laundromat. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire and conducted a thorough check for any extension to the surrounding area. No additional issues were found, and the incident was brought under control without further complications.

No injuries were reported.
