The South Spring Valley Fire Department will be hosting Fire Prevention Day this Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 26 Red Schoolhouse Road in Chestnut Ridge.
Families are invited to enjoy an exciting, hands-on fire-safety experience, including live demonstrations showing how firefighters keep the community safe. Kids will have the chance to suit up in real gear and explore equipment, while parents get an inside look at the tools and techniques used by first responders.
