SUNDAY: Grand Unity Menorah Lighting In Honor Of Sydney Kedoshim At Spring Valley Marketplace

The Monsey community is invited to gather for a Grand Unity Menorah Lighting this Sunday evening, December 21, at the Spring Valley Market Place Shopping Center, featuring a towering 20-foot menorah and a powerful message of unity and remembrance.

The event is being held in honor of the Kedoshim of the Sydney massacre, bringing the community together for an evening of inspiration, light, and solidarity.

The program will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the official menorah lighting scheduled for 7:30 p.m., at 1 Spring Valley Market Place, Spring Valley, NY 10977.

In addition to the menorah lighting, attendees will enjoy live music, donuts and refreshments, a video presentation, and a spectacular fire show, making it a meaningful and family-friendly Chanukah experience.

The event is a project of Merkaz Uforatzta Lubavitch, in partnership with NCJE of Rockland County, and is open to the entire community.

Community members are encouraged to attend and take part in this uplifting evening as Monsey lights up Chanukah together in unity and remembrance.

  1. The menorah lighting ceremony is very close to North Pascack Road and Clark Drive. If the Hasidim do business in the area, maybe they would purchase the homes on those streets and let that area become a Hasidic area.
