The Clarkstown Police Department will be hosting a free child car seat safety inspection on Sunday, June 29, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Nanuet Fire Department Substation, located at 11 Renee Lane in Bardonia. The event is by appointment only, and residents are encouraged to register in advance at clarkstown.gov/police/child-safety-seats.
Certified safety technicians will be on-site to inspect car seats and provide guidance on proper installation, weight and height requirements, and best practices for child passenger safety. Organizers note that additional dates will be announced for those unable to attend this weekend.
