The Clarkstown Police Department will host a free child car seat safety inspection on Sunday, January 25, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Nanuet Fire Department Substation, located at 11 Renee Lane.
The event is by appointment only, and residents must register in advance at:

Certified child passenger safety technicians will be on hand to inspect car seats and provide guidance on proper installation, safety features, weight and height requirements, and best practices to help keep children safe while traveling. Officials noted that additional inspection dates will be offered in the future for those unable to attend this session.
