SUNDAY: Chabad to Host Annual Chanukah Parade and Grand Menorah Lighting at Palisades Center

Chabad is once again bringing the community together for its highly anticipated Chanukah Parade 5786, set for Sunday night, December 14th, the first night of Chanukah. The annual event draws hundreds of families from across Rockland County for a vibrant display of Jewish pride, unity, and celebration.

This year’s parade will depart from Tzemach Tzedek Shul, 2 Langeries Drive, with lineup beginning at 6:45 PM and the parade rolling out at 7:15 PM. Dozens of menorah-topped vehicles are expected to participate, lighting up the streets as they travel toward the Palisades Center.

The procession will culminate at the Palisades Center Mall, where Chabad will host a Grand Menorah Lighting at 8:00 PM near Macy’s. The festive program will include delicious donuts, raffles, a kids’ rally, pekelach, and live music by Meir Borenstein, creating an uplifting experience for all ages.

Adding to the excitement, the evening will feature a special magic and illusion show by Joshy K., offering family-friendly entertainment as part of the celebration.

Chabad organizers welcome all community members to participate and help spread the light of Chanukah. Menorah parade vehicles are encouraged, and donations are welcome to support the event.
