SUFFERN: Vehicle Overturns on Cragmere Road, Multiple Agencies Respond

Emergency personnel responded to the scene of an MVA on Thursday afternoon on Cragmere Road near Yale Drive in Suffern, where a vehicle overturned after reportedly losing control and striking a curb.

Hatzoloh EMS, the Ramapo Police Department, and both the Tallman and Suffern Fire Departments were dispatched to the scene. Injuries have been reported.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.

This incident has reignited longstanding safety concerns among residents regarding Cragmere Road. In recent months, community members have advocated for enhanced pedestrian infrastructure, citing the lack of sidewalks and adequate crosswalks as significant hazards.
