SUFFERN: Suspicious Vehicle Incident Ends in Crash on Rella Boulevard

On Sunday at noon, Ramapo Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near 200 Rella Boulevard in Suffern. Upon arrival, an officer observed the vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Just seconds later, the vehicle crashed nearby.

Officers detained a suspect at the scene while Faist EMS and Rockland Paramedics were called. The individual was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for evaluation and was then released and taken into custody by Ramapo Police.

Police also discovered a substance inside the vehicle. Sources tell Monsey Scoop that the driver appeared to be emotionally disturbed. The investigation is ongoing, with no additional details at this time.
