SUFFERN: Pedestrian Struck on Route 59 Near Woodland Drive and Oakdale Manor, Victim in Critical Condition

At approximately 2:15 p.m. on Monday, a pedestrian was struck on Route 59 near Woodland Drive in Suffern. The victim was transported in critical condition to Good Samaritan Hospital by Faist EMS and Rockland Paramedics.

Suffern Police, along with the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office BCI and the Ramapo Police Accident Investigation Team, responded to the scene and are investigating the incident.

Route 59 is closed between Woodland Drive and Oakdale Manor while authorities conduct their investigation.

  1. Glad to see the Village of Suffern Police having what to do. Constantly pulling over cars for petty stuff. Screwed police and court system.
