Firefighters and emergency personnel responded to a structure fire on Scotland Hill Road, near Scotland Road, at approximately 12:40 PM on Tuesday. The fire was caused by burning wires that had fallen onto the house.
Responding units included the South Spring Valley FD, Spring Valley FD, Monsey FD, Pearl River FD, Nanuet FD, Ramapo Police, Orange and Rockland Utilities, and the William P. Faist Ambulance Corps.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
