A strong turnout of local residents gathered Wednesday evening for a Haverstraw community meet-and-greet with Congressman Mike Lawler and State Senator Bill Weber.
The event, held at the Butrimovitz residence in Pomona, gave community members an opportunity to meet directly with Lawler and Weber and discuss issues and concerns affecting families across Haverstraw and Rockland County.
Throughout the evening, attendees spoke with the two elected officials in an informal setting, with Lawler and Weber engaging residents on local, state and federal issues and hearing directly from members of the community.
The gathering was hosted by a group of local community members and drew a strong crowd, reflecting continued community engagement with elected officials representing Rockland County.
