Stony Point Resident Faces Charges for Possession of Stolen Property and Controlled Substance

On Saturday, November 4, Stony Point Police apprehended resident Willian Scott, who is now facing charges related to the possession of stolen property and illegal drugs.
Authorities were initially called to a residence on E. Main Street to address a domestic issue. However, the situation escalated when law enforcement officials discovered that Scott had a 2017 Honda motorcycle in his possession, which had been previously reported as stolen, informed a spokesperson from the Stony Point Police Department.

The police’s search extended to Scott himself, leading to the finding of crack cocaine. Following these discoveries, Scott was taken into custody. After processing, he was released with an appearance ticket.

Scott is scheduled to return to Stony Point Justice Court on Thursday, November 16, to face the charges brought against him. The Stony Point Police Department has not released further details regarding the domestic incident that initially prompted the police response.
