Stony Point Police Investigate Double Fatality, Assure No Public Risk

Stony Point Police are investigating the deaths of two individuals on Rosetown Road, Tomkins Cove. Responding to the scene just after 2 p.m. on Tuesday, authorities have since assured the community that the incident appears to be an isolated event, posing no ongoing threat to public safety.

In efforts to keep the public informed, Stony Point PD emphasized through social media, “There is no threat to the general public.” As the investigation continues, with police maintaining a secure presence on site, residents have been advised to steer clear of the area.
