The Stony Point Police Department has officially welcomed its newest member, Police Officer John Tobin. Appointed by the Stony Point Town Board, Officer Tobin comes to the department from the NYPD, bringing with him years of valuable experience that will allow him to immediately contribute to the safety and service of the community.
Police Chief Greg Becker expressed pride in the new addition, noting that Officer Tobin’s background and skills will be an asset to the department. “We are confident that Officer Tobin will hit the ground running here in Stony Point,” Becker said.
The department also extended its gratitude to the Town Board for its continued support and for approving this important hire. Community members are encouraged to join in wishing Officer Tobin a long and successful career in Stony Point.
