Stony Point Police Arrest Woman After Knife Threat in Neighbor Dispute

On Thursday, October 2, at approximately 12:45 p.m., officers from the Stony Point Police Department responded to a report of a dispute between neighbors at an apartment complex in Tomkins Cove.

Upon arrival, police located two women involved in the altercation. Following interviews with both parties, officers determined that one of the individuals, identified as Inez Henriquez, 42, of Tomkins Cove, had allegedly threatened her neighbor with a large kitchen knife.

Henriquez was taken into custody and charged with Menacing in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, and Harassment in the Second Degree. She was transported to police headquarters for processing and later released with an appearance ticket returnable to the Stony Point Justice Court on October 16, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
