On February 2, 2026, at approximately 12:20 a.m., officers responded to a report of a possible dispute inside a vehicle parked outside a local restaurant. Upon arrival, police located two occupants inside the vehicle. A computer check revealed an active stay-away Order of Protection between the two individuals. A 37-year-old male from Pomona was found to be in violation of the order and was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree. He was processed at the station, arraigned in Stony Point Justice Court, and released on his own recognizance with a return court date of February 17, 2026.

On February 5, 2026, a 51-year-old male from Secaucus, New Jersey, was arrested following an investigation into a reported domestic incident. The suspect later responded to the police station where he was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree and Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree. He was processed, arraigned, and released on his own recognizance with a return court date of April 9, 2026.

On February 11, 2026, at approximately 2:15 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting a domestic dispute at a residence. Police interviewed a female caller who stated she had been assaulted by her boyfriend inside the home. The victim sustained a bloody nose, scratches to her neck, and bruising on her forehead but declined medical attention. A 74-year-old male from Stony Point was arrested and charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Assault in the Third Degree, and Harassment in the Second Degree. A 29-year-old male from West Haverstraw was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree along with multiple vehicle and traffic violations. The driver reported transporting a male and female from Spring Valley to the complex, but upon arrival they claimed they did not have money to pay the fare and entered an apartment. Officers located the two individuals and they were positively identified by the driver. A 42-year-old male from Nyack and a 29-year-old female from Haverstraw were arrested and charged with Theft of Service and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree after officers discovered two blue pills on the male suspect without a prescription. Both were issued appearance tickets and released with a court date of March 17, 2026. The male was later turned over to the Clarkstown Police Department on an active warrant.

In a separate case on February 27, 2026, Stony Point Police assisted U.S. Marshals and New York State Parole officers in locating a 39-year-old male last known to reside in Nanuet. The suspect was wanted for removing his GPS ankle monitor while on parole related to a prior kidnapping conviction. He was transported to the Rockland County Jail by U.S. Marshals and parole officers.
