Stony Point Ambulance Corps Retires Long-Serving Ambulance After a Decade of Service

The Stony Point Ambulance Corps is retiring ambulance 61B3 after more than ten years of service to the community.

First placed into service in 2014, the ambulance has answered over 5,000 calls—helping countless residents across the Town of Stony Point. Officials estimate the unit likely touched the lives of nearly one in three town residents during its career.

In the coming days, 61B3 will be retired as the Corps welcomes a new ambulance into its fleet. “We’re excited for the future and grateful for the community, the town, and our members for their trust, support, and dedication,” the Corps said.
