The New York State Police are currently investigating a tragic collision that resulted in the death of a pedestrian on the NYS Thruway Interstate 87 southbound. The incident occurred on Tuesday October 29, 2024, around 9:55 p.m., between exits 12 and 13 in West Nyack.
According to the preliminary investigation, 55-year-old Saul Clark of Paterson, New Jersey, was involved in a minor collision with another vehicle. After stepping out of his car to inspect the damage, he was struck by a 2018 Ford SUV driven by 30-year-old Jasmin McCoy of Nyack. Mr. Clark was pronounced dead at the scene.
