On Sunday, a grand opening was held at the new shopping center located at 146 Route 59 near Augusta Avenue, marking the official launch of several new businesses, including Sprinkles Ice Cream and Emes Food Mart.
Sprinkles attracted a massive crowd by giving away thousands of free ice creams to attendees throughout the day. The event drew local families, community members, and special guests — including New York State Senator Bill Weber, who was in attendance to show his support for local businesses.
The plaza is expected to become a popular new destination for shopping and family-friendly treats.
