Spring Valley’s Kennedy Park Trails to Get Playground Upgrade with ARPA Funding

On Tuesday, Village of Spring Valley Trustee Yisroel Eisenbach along with Paul Brennan the Director of Rockland County Purchasing and other officials inspected the Kennedy Park Trails at Old Nyack Turnpike & Kennedy Drive. Currently void of playground equipment, this park is poised for a significant upgrade.

Thanks to a grant from Rockland County using the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, the village is taking bids from companies to introduce quality playground equipment.

“The aim is to provide a modern playground for our community,” Trustee Eisenbach commented.

Various bidding companies showcased their designs during the walkthrough. The village will soon select a proposal and begin the transformation, promising a vibrant play area for local families.

Four companies showed up for bidding, the bids are due by September 7th 3PM.
