Spring Valley Trustee Yisroel Eisenbach Works to Minimize Traffic Disruptions During Key Times

Spring Valley Trustee Yisroel Eisenbach has been steadfast in his efforts over the past five years to reduce traffic disruptions caused by utility construction, particularly on Fridays and Jewish holidays. Since his election in 2019, Eisenbach has taken the lead in collaborating with utility companies to ensure that construction activities are rescheduled to avoid these significant days, prioritizing community convenience and cultural sensitivity.

In January, Orange & Rockland Utilities once again reached out to Eisenbach for a detailed list of Erev Shabbosim and Yomim Tovim to help plan their roadwork schedules accordingly. This ongoing communication reflects the effectiveness of Eisenbach’s initiative and the companies’ willingness to accommodate the community’s needs.

Additionally, other leading utility providers, including Veolia Water, have shown strong cooperation by adjusting their schedules to conduct work on less sensitive days. These efforts have contributed to smoother traffic flow during high-priority times and have been warmly received by local residents.
