Below is the full text of his letter:

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

After 12 fulfilling years serving as your trustee in the Village of Spring Valley, I have decided not to seek re-election for a fourth term. I am confident that the progress we have made will continue to benefit our community for years to come.

Since I was first elected 12 years ago, I have worked hard to serve this village and its residents, and I am very proud of what we have accomplished together. We have prioritized fiscal responsibility and transparency, maintained low property taxes, increased pedestrian safety, and promoted new, safe housing to meet Spring Valley’s growing needs.

I also want to express my deep appreciation to my colleagues, past and present, for their dedication and collaboration over the years.

Serving Spring Valley has been an honor, and I deeply appreciate your trust and support. I am grateful for the opportunity to have made a difference and for the relationships built along the way. While I am leaving elective office, I am staying right here in Spring Valley.

Asher Grossman

Trustee, Village of Spring Valley

Grossman’s decision marks the end of an era in Spring Valley politics, as he has been a steady presence in local government for over a decade. His leadership and contributions have left a lasting impact on the village, and his presence in public service will be missed.
