Spring Valley Police were kept busy overnight Saturday into Sunday, July 6th, with multiple arrests stemming from separate incidents across the village—most of them related to domestic violence, along with one involving a drunk driver.
A 55-year-old man was arrested in connection with a domestic-related dispute. He is facing charges of Menacing in the Second Degree involving a weapon, along with three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
In a separate incident, a 32-year-old woman was arrested and charged with Assault in the Third Degree after police responded to another domestic call.
A 50-year-old man was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated. He was charged with DWI – First Offense and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC of .08% or higher.
Police also arrested a 36-year-old man in another domestic case, charging him with Assault in the Third Degree.
Lastly, a 55-year-old man who had been released earlier following a domestic-related arrest was re-arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree for violating a court order.
Spring Valley Police continue to investigate all of the incidents.
