SPRING VALLEY: Spring Valley FD Responds to Electrical Fire on North Main Street; No Damage Reported

On Friday at approximately 12:34 p.m., the Spring Valley Fire Department responded to a reported electrical fire at 21 N. Main Street. An exhaust fan had caught fire, but the flames were quickly extinguished by a neighbor using a fire extinguisher prior to firefighters’ arrival.

Smoke was observed coming from a window, prompting fire crews to conduct a thorough inspection of the attic and wall spaces to ensure the fire had not spread. As a precaution, the residence was temporarily cleared while crews completed their checks.

Fire officials confirmed there was no extension and no damage to the home. Multiple emergency agencies responded to the scene.
