SPRING VALLEY: School Bus Crashes Into Car and Brick Wall on South Myrtle Avenue After Apparent Brake Failure

A school bus was involved in a crash Thursday at approximately 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Myrtle Avenue and Walnut Place in Spring Valley after reportedly experiencing sudden brake failure.

Sources tell Monsey Scoop that the bus struck another vehicle before continuing forward and coming to rest against a brick wall on a residential property. The impact caused damage to the wall and the front of the bus.

Hatzoloh EMS and the Spring Valley Police Department responded to the scene and evaluated those involved. Despite the dramatic nature of the crash, no serious injuries were reported.
