The Spring Valley Police Department is honoring the retirement of Sergeant Brandon King following more than 21 years of dedicated service in law enforcement.
Sergeant King began his law enforcement career with the New York City Police Department in January 2005 before joining the Tuxedo Police Department in August 2006. He became a member of the Spring Valley Police Department on January 5, 2009, where he spent the next 17 years serving and protecting the residents of Spring Valley.
In October 2021, King was promoted to Sergeant, recognizing his professionalism, leadership, and commitment to both the department and the community.
During his distinguished career, Sergeant King served in several specialized roles, including Child Safety Seat Technician, Bicycle Patrol Officer, Honor Guard member, and DWI Enforcement Officer. His dedication to public safety earned him numerous awards and commendations throughout his years of service.
For more than two decades, Sergeant King answered the call of duty, mentored fellow officers, and served the public with integrity and dedication. The Spring Valley Police Department thanked him for his years of service and wished him a happy and well-deserved retirement.
