The Spring Valley Police Department has released official statements regarding two separate shooting incidents that occurred on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Both incidents are under active investigation, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Fatal Shooting on 2 Dutch Lane
As reported by Monsey Scoop, at approximately 5:12 p.m., Spring Valley Police officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 2 Dutch Lane. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive 20-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Police immediately initiated CPR until EMS arrived on the scene. The victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Shots Fired at Robert Pitt Drive
As reported by Monsey Scoop, later that evening at approximately 11:57 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 59 Robert Pitt Drive (Regency Village). Upon arrival, police located numerous shell casings in the parking lot. A preliminary investigation revealed that multiple gunshots struck several nearby occupied apartments as well as an unoccupied parked vehicle.
