Police are investigating a late-night stabbing that occurred on Gesner Drive near Maple Avenue in Spring Valley.
The incident unfolded at approximately 10:29 p.m. Wednesday, drawing a large emergency response from the Spring Valley Police Department, Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, Spring Hill EMS, and Rockland Paramedics.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel located a victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim was treated at the scene before being transported to Westchester Medical Center for further medical treatment.
Police quickly launched an investigation and took a suspect into custody shortly after the incident was reported.
Detectives from the Spring Valley Police Department and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) remained on the scene late Wednesday night as the investigation continued.
