The Spring Valley Police Department has added a new member to its force with the recent hiring of Officer Derli Peña Santana. A former officer with the NYPD’s 44th Precinct, Santana brings three years of experience in urban policing, with a focus on community engagement and public safety.
His background includes hands-on experience in fast-paced environments and a strong emphasis on building trust between law enforcement and local residents.
The addition of Officer Santana is seen as part of the department’s ongoing effort to strengthen its team and enhance public safety in the Village of Spring Valley.
