Spring Valley Police, Assisted by Chaverim of Rockland, Arrest Suspect for DWI and Hit-and-Run

In a coordinated effort between the Spring Valley Police Department and Chaverim of Rockland, a suspect was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. The incident occurred just before 8:00PM on Monday at the intersection of South Central Avenue and Route 59.

According to reports, the suspect’s vehicle collided with two other cars at the intersection. A victim involved in the crash promptly contacted Chaverim of Rockland, who quickly responded to the scene. Volunteers from Chaverim kept a visual at the fleeing vehicle and promptly contacted the Spring Valley Police Department.

Spring Valley Police officers swiftly responded to the call, locating and apprehending the suspect. The individual now faces charges of driving while intoxicated and fleeing the scene of an accident. The quick actions of Chaverim of Rockland and the prompt response from the Spring Valley Police Department were instrumental in the successful arrest.
