The Spring Valley Police Department announced the arrest of two suspects in connection with a residential burglary that occurred on Wolfe Drive last month.
According to police, officers responded to a residence on December 25, 2025, for a report of a past burglary. The victim reported that his home had been forcibly entered while he was away, with approximately $25,000 worth of property stolen.
The case was assigned to members of the Spring Valley Detective Bureau, who conducted an immediate and thorough investigation with assistance from Chaverim of Rockland. As a result of the investigation, detectives arrested two suspects on January 4, 2026: 46-year-old Marvin Lorenzo-Hernandez of Ramapo and 37-year-old Anderson Martinez-Ruano of Spring Valley. Police say the victim’s stolen property was recovered during the course of the investigation.
Both suspects were charged with Burglary in the Second Degree (C felony), Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree (D felony), Grand Larceny in the Third Degree (D felony), and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (A misdemeanor).
The suspects were arraigned in Spring Valley Justice Court before Judge Mellion and were released on their own recognizance.
The Spring Valley Police Department also thanked the Ramapo Police Department and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation for their assistance.
