Spring Valley Police have arrested two village residents in connection with a vehicle larceny investigation that began after a car break-in on East Route 59.
Police say officers responded to the parking lot of 175 East Route 59 on May 19 after receiving a report that a vehicle’s driver-side window had been smashed and a wallet containing cash and credit cards had been stolen.
Investigators later determined that the stolen credit cards had been used at the Palisades Center Mall. Following an extensive investigation, detectives arrested 29-year-old Sydeesa Sisco and 33-year-old Terrence Rabel, both of Spring Valley, on May 26.
Both defendants were charged with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, and Petit Larceny.
Police said Rabel also faces charges related to two additional vehicle larceny investigations, while Sisco was charged in connection with one additional vehicle larceny case.
Both were arraigned before Judge Sweet and remanded to the Rockland County Jail.
