At approximately 6:59 a.m. on January 1, 2026, a patrol officer with the Spring Valley Police Department was flagged down at 37 South Main Street after a shattered front door was discovered at Aim’s Convenient Store. Officers determined the business had been burglarized overnight, with the owner reporting that approximately $2,000 was stolen from the cash register.
While members of the Spring Valley Detective Bureau were responding, police received a second report of a broken window at 19 South Main Street, Club De Nutrition. Further investigation revealed that this business had also been burglarized, with about $60 reported stolen. Detectives responded to both scenes and launched an immediate investigation.

Authorities say Jack was charged with two counts of Burglary in the Third Degree (D felony), two counts of Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree (E felony), one count of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (E felony), and one count of Petit Larceny (A misdemeanor). He was arraigned in Spring Valley Justice Court by Judge Mellion and remanded to the Rockland County Jail.
