SPRING VALLEY: Person Pinned Under Vehicle on Route 59 Rushed to Westchester Medical Center

Emergency responders are currently on the scene after a pedestrian was struck and pinned under a vehicle on Route 59, between South Cole Avenue and West Street. Rockland Hatzolah paramedics quickly transported the victim to Westchester Medical Center in serious condition.

Sources tell Monsey Scoop that Chaverim of Rockland volunteers swiftly lifted the vehicle, allowing Hatzolah paramedics to provide immediate care.

The street remains closed as authorities conduct an ongoing investigation into the incident.
