A reported structure fire at a residence on Sharon Drive Friday afternoon was determined to be an oven fire. Firefighters from the Spring Valley, South Spring Valley, Monsey, and Hillcrest Fire Departments, along with the Spring Valley Police Department, responded to the scene. The fire was extinguished before firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported.
