Spring Valley Men Arrested for Larceny and Identity Theft in Hillcrest

On February 2, 2024, a larceny from a vehicle in Hillcrest led to an investigation by Ramapo Police detectives, culminating in the arrest of two Spring Valley men on February 7. The suspects, aged 31 and 22, were charged with multiple offenses, including felonies for Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree and Grand Larceny 4th Degree, and misdemeanors for Conspiracy 5th Degree and Identity Theft 3rd Degree.

During the arrest, one suspect was found with heroin and prescription pills, resulting in an additional charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. Following their processing at RPD, both men were released pending their court appearances.
