SPRING VALLEY: Late-Night Apartment Fire Prompts Multi-Department Response

At approximately 10:00 p.m. Monday evening, a fire broke out in an apartment at 260 North Main Street, Apartment B30, near Sneden Place in Spring Valley.

Firefighters from the Spring Valley Fire Department, along with mutual aid from the Monsey Fire Department, Hillcrest Fire Department, and South Spring Valley Fire Department, responded to the scene and worked together to bring the blaze under control.

Spring Hill EMS and the Spring Valley Police Department also responded, providing medical standby and assisting with traffic and scene safety as crews battled the fire for nearly two hours.

Monsey Fire Department’s RAC Unit (Rest and Comfort) was on scene providing food, water, and support to firefighters throughout the operation, which concluded shortly before midnight.

No injuries were immediately reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
