SPRING VALLEY: Individual Initially Reported Struck by Train Found to Have Been Injured Avoiding Train on Pascack Road

Emergency personnel responded to reports of a person struck by a train on Pascack Road at approximately 12:40PM on Wednesday. However, further investigation revealed that the individual was not hit by the train but sustained injuries while jumping out of its path to avoid being struck.

The individual, who remains conscious and alert, reportedly suffered a shoulder injury during the incident. Multiple agencies responded to the scene to ensure the safety of all involved and assess the circumstances.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
